I’m backkkkkk. I feel like myself again!Friday, 9:50 p.m.
What the heck? I just got home. 9:42 p.m. I left this morning at 6:30 a.m. This is what I do for class night and I’m literally exhausted. Am I exhausted now? Oh no. I’m so energized.
I went right after school to get my hair done so I got to talk to my wonderful friend while she was doing my hair for two hours.
Then I zoomed into the city to meet four new friends from the Wolf tribe for Happy Hour and an event at the art museum that combined dance and photography. After it was over we had another drink and chatted.
So much fun!
Tonight we were all single ladies. One has just gotten on the dating apps two weeks ago and had her first meetup for tea this week. She said he was nice-looking but when he said he had to wash his hands if a dog licked him she knew it would not work. She adores animals and even does foster pets for a shelter. They didn’t even exchange numbers! But she was glad she broken the ice. The other two ladies are neither ready for men right now. One had cancer last year and is still getting her strength back and the other is just now going through her divorce I believe.
We pulled dating app lady’s phone out and showed them Bumble. It was a hoot. We swiped left on three and she liked one man. She was disappointed that the message thing didn’t show up so I told her how the app worked. We also fixed it so she got notifications.
You guys I had so much fun.
I needed that.
Tomorrow is a teenager writing camp thingy then Mardi Gras Ball tomorrow night, a writing meeting Sunday and lunch with a college friend. This weekend is as back to back to back.
This event tonight was at our local art museum which is incredible and I had forgotten how incredible. I will be spending a lot more time there.
All right, off to sleeps.
Virtual date man is sketchy AF and hasn’t responded.
I’m talking to a cutie on Hinge though!
